The new Xpert series of
compressed-air dryers from Fasti in Austria promises improved energy efficiency and more cost-effective hopper construction. First is by shortening the
drying process, using high-volume compressed air at startup. Second is by cutting back the compressed-air stream by 50% when operating temperature is reached. Third is by heating up fast with only 1 kw of power. To counteract the 400% rise in stainless-steel prices over the last two years, change its hopper construction. It remains stainless steel on the inside but is powder-coated steel on the outside. The Xpert series comes with hopper volumes of 0.5 to 62 liters.
